Book Review: Creating a World That Works for All by Sharif Abdullah

He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest – a kind of delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a prison for us … Our task must be to free ourselves…

Book Review: Lying by Sam Harris

As a young, impressionable girl in elementary Catholic school in sunny California in the 1970’s, I learned to lie. Yes, you read that correctly: I learned to lie. Every week, I was required to attend confession, where I was to tell a priest what my sins were for the week. As a very shy youth,…

It is a summation of how the elite control…

I made a vegan quiche today: vegan meat crumbles at bottom with #justinc egg, onions, spinach, vegan mozzarella, mushrooms, and spices in a pie shell.
Dear Ruth, I Jumped Off the Pedestal Because of You
Lots of labor for Peter and I on this lovely Labor Day. We are harvesting what we could from the garden before the snow hits tomorrow. We decided to harvest some and cover the rest. Here is some of what we have. We will be freezing lots of it today. Anyone want any sunflowers?! I've never had so many beautiful sunflowers in my house at once!
We treated ourselves to a big breakfast this morning because... Why not?! Fruit salad, hash browns, pancakes, #JustEgg, #LightLifeBacon, and coffee from #OwlsNest in Franktown. #allveganeverything, #allcrueltyfree
Today's harvest. Happy Sat to everyone!
I was craving Mexican stew today! #allveganeverything
